The 11th Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic

The 11th Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic, was held at the Kiwi Tennis Club May 1-8th, 2016. This event is the largest women’s tennis event in Central Florida. This year world-class athletes competed for $75,000 in prize money. The Singles winner was Jennifer Brady, with runner up Taylor Townshend–whose overall point total won her the Main Draw Wild Card into the French Open. Doubles winners were Alexandra Panova and Julie Glushko.

The tournament gave fans the opportunity to experience the excitement and intensity of women’s professional tennis in Brevard County. The USTA Pro Circuit is a pathway to the US Open and other tour-level competitions for aspiring tennis players and a frequent battleground for established professionals.

This year’s tournament benefitted the Parker Foundation for Autism and Child Development and The Scott Center for Autism Treatment. In addition to tennis, special activities took place during the week including a Kid’s Day, An Adaptive Tennis Clinic for children on the autism spectrum, and nightly featured matches. A Courtside Celebration event was held May 7th to raise money for the charities.
