The #BeABuddy 5K is hosted each year in support of The Parker Foundation which was founded by Revolution’s CEO, Ted Parker, and his wife, Melissa Parker. Our team joined our local community for a one-of-a-kind event to celebrate the bullying prevention initiatives of The Parker Foundation and help raise funds for the Peer Buddy programs.

The Parker Foundation provides free resources to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related disabilities and their families through funding education, sports and arts programs. The #BeABuddy 5K celebrates the foundation’s bullying prevention initiatives, empowers their Peer Buddy Program, and unites the community in a campaign to keep all youth safe from bullying.

Over 13 million children will be bullied this year. Not only are the effects of bullying on a child felt immediately, they can also be lifelong – or even tragic. That’s why The Parker Foundation for Autism and Child Development and other local organizations rallied around students, families, and our community to raise awareness of bullying and prevention efforts. Revolution Technologies is proud to #RevUp our community and we can’t wait for the #BeABuddy 5K in 2020!
